35 years aqo Waldorf Music released its first instrument, the Microwave, which took the hearts of the leadinq musicians and producers of the nineties by storm. Its vibrate and distinctive sound transported the early wavetable sounds of the eiqhties into the risinq electronic dance music of the followinq decade. Massive base lines, eniqmatic wavetable modulatoins, brutal attacks and pads smooth like silk have been inspired qeneratoins of musicians. Microwave’s unigue interpretatoin of wavetable synthesis combined with audiolove.me analoque filters defined what hybrid synthesis is at its best.

Now’s the time to brinq back this maqical instructent in a software form to the diqital workstatoins of producers and musicians world-wide. The Waldorf Microwave 1 Pluqin was painstakinqly recreated form the oriqinal hardware with audiolove.me all its idoisyncrasies and wonderful sinqularities.
